Upload, organize, share, and manage files and folders in the File Manager.

File Operations

Uploading Files

Drag & Drop

  1. Open the folder where you want to upload
  2. Drag files from your computer onto the File Manager area
  3. A progress indicator shows upload status

Click to Upload

  1. Click the Upload button
  2. Select files from the file picker
  3. Files upload with progress tracking

Supported File Types

  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV
  • Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A (voice recordings)
  • Images: PNG, JPG, SVG, GIF
  • Data: JSON, XML

Creating Folders

  1. Click + New Folder
  2. Enter a folder name
  3. The folder appears in the current directory

Viewing Files

Grid View

  • Shows file thumbnails and icons
  • Click to preview, double-click to open

List View

  • Compact table with name, size, date, type columns
  • Sortable by any column

Toggle between views using the Grid/List icons in the toolbar.

Moving & Copying Files

  1. Select one or more files (click or use checkboxes)
  2. Right-click or use the toolbar menu
  3. Choose Move to… or Copy to…
  4. Select the destination folder
  5. Confirm the action

Sharing Files

  1. Right-click a file → Share
  2. A shareable link is generated
  3. Copy the link to share with anyone

Voice Preview

For audio files (MP3, WAV, M4A):

  1. Click the audio file
  2. A preview drawer opens at the bottom
  3. Play/pause the recording
  4. Seek through the audio
  5. See file details (duration, size, format)

Trash & Restore

Deleted files go to Trash before permanent deletion:

  1. Select files → click Delete
  2. Files move to the Trash folder
  3. Go to Trash to view deleted files
  4. Click Restore to recover files
  5. Or Permanently Delete to remove forever

Note: Trash is automatically emptied after 30 days.
